About The Event
THE CLAP COMEDY CLUB PRESENTS BOBBY DAVRO!
The Clap Comedy Club brings a genuine British comedy and entertainment legend to The Doghouse, Walton-on-the-Hill!
Bobby Davro shot to national fame after his breakthrough appearance on Live from Her Majesty’s in 1983 and went on to become one of the biggest comedy entertainers on British television. His hit shows included Bobby Davro on the Box, Bobby Davro’s TV Weekly, Davro’s Sketch Pad and Public Enemy Number One, alongside appearances on Copy Cats. Later audiences also got to know him as Vinnie Monks in EastEnders.
More than four decades later, Bobby remains a hugely experienced live entertainer, bringing together stand-up, impressions, stories, quick-fire gags and old-school showmanship. And this time you don’t have to trek into London to see him because he’s playing right here at your local!
Supporting Bobby is Jay Saunders, bringing his distinctive blend of dark, offbeat comedy and music to the night, with Hawk along…
